When did you get your last reserve repack?

We recommend getting a repack annually. Your reserve should also be repacked any time your harness/reserve gets wet, or when your harness/reserve is exposed to excess dirt, sand, or humidity.

All reserves are thoroughly inspected, and then re-packed in accordance with the manufacturers specifications. We also check the harness bridle, shoulder attachment points and maillons. The reserve is then placed back into the harness and the whole system is double checked to make sure it will deploy correctly when needed.

We recommend if possible you come by and practise deploying your reserve. This will make you familiar with the deployment, so in an emergency you will know how to deploy it and what to expect.
